It’s been such a busy February and March that I suddenly realised I haven’t posted for nearly two whole months!
We have been hard at work in the workshop with lots of new stock arriving every week so it’s been a juggling act as to what to tackle first and plenty of multi-tasking has been evident! On one day we were so intent on the various jobs being undertaken in the workshop that we didn’t even notice the snow was falling outside!!
We are just so enthusiastic as there has been so much interest and positive feedback from everyone.
We are now taking painting commissions again and if you have a specific piece of furniture that you are looking for then please let us know so that we can try to find exactly what you need. We are also busy restoring furniture and have begun an upholstery service – more about that next month!
Now that the milder weather seems to have arrived here in Cornwall we are moving back into the Summer workshop and have been busy giving it a facelift so that it is ship shape and Bristol fashion for the projects we have planned this year. We think it looks fantastic and feel we are so lucky to have such a beautiful workplace, what do you think?
As mentioned in the last post we have some lovely new pieces that we are now about to offer for sale including an exquisite French armoire painted in a subtle Farrow and Ball “Purbeck Stone” eggshell and a grand French double bed now updated with an Annie Sloan “French Linen” finished with wax techniques.
Today we have also launched our Easter Sale with many of our items reduced – please have a look before these bargains disappear.
Finally please come see us at the Cornwall Showground at Wadebridge over the Easter weekend on Friday, 19th April and Saturday, 20th April where we have a stall showcasing some of our work. We are really looking forward to our first antique and collectors fair and hope this will be the first of many.
